We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join a logistics and supply chain visibility project. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise, a solid understanding of best practices, and the capability to implement them effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Real-Time and Batch Scheduled integration solutions
- Collect specifications for defining, developing, testing, and implementing new integration structures to client-site business operations
- Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and tools to assist with development, testing, and maintenance of integrations
- Take an active role in documenting the code, processes, and procedures of the development team
- Must be comfortable and successful working directly with customers
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team using Agile methodology
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with Java
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Apache Camel
- Experience with other tools in Apache Camel ecosystem is a strong plus
- Strong SQL skills
- Expertise in Kubernetes environment is a plus
- Commercial experience with SOAP and REST Web Services, Apache CXF
- Carrier APIs experience is a plus (e.g. Fedex REST API etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
